Les "Travellings".......

This is my latest series that I commenced last summer... the ambiguity between travelling across a music score and a "landscape" could be the subconscious motivation behind this work.

Artist Profile

I am a Britsh artist and have lived in France since 1990.

I have exhibited in Val d'Isère, Paris, Geneva and Moscow. My paintings are in private collections in Val d'Isère, Paris, London, New York, Gstaad, Geneva, Sydney and Helsinki. Works have also been sold in the Christies Ski Sale London 2004, 2005 and 2006.

I studied in the UK and briefly attended Manchester College of Art and Design where I was initially destined to become a graphic artist.

I lived and worked in London as a pianist and composer starting in the mid 1970's . I moved through jazz rock and funk into pop arranging. I then regularly composed classical production music used for TV and film, including several works for string quartet. From 1989 until 1999 I divided my energies fairly equally between the two disciplines but I now devote my time to painting.
